R&D Security Products – About Us

R&D Sheetmetal Ltd. is an ISO 9001 accredited company operating from 2 sites in Clayton West, Huddersfield, utilising 25000 sq. ft. of modern production facilities. We have built a reputation for quality and service and we are now one of the regions most respected and prolific manufacturers of sheet metal products.

We are renowned for our range of security products, including LPS 1175 (Issue 7) SR3 to SR6 High Security Doors, Enclosures and Walling Systems. We are the first company to have gained SR6 certification for enclosures/modular buildings. 

R&D offers a full design service to all our customers, which includes 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.

Our manufacturing techniques incorporate state of the art Radan CAD/CAM technology which is linked directly to our CNC Punch and Laser cutting machines. All our security products are finished to a high standard in our in-house powder coating facility.

Our team of highly skilled personnel take great pride in their work and are totally committed to delivering quality products to the highest of standards.

R&D also offers an installation service throughout the UK and Ireland by our own dedicated team of engineers. External enclosures can be lifted and fitted directly into position, where access allows, or assembled on site. This installation service is available in or out of normal working hours and is offered as standard.

Our new 1500 sq. ft. showroom is located in our second factory and houses a full display of all our LPS 1175 ( Issue 7 ) certified products and a wide range of enclosures specifically designed by R&D for the ATM industry.
